In December, we announced that we would once again be doing a collection for toys and clothes for disadvantaged children in Bristol for Christmas 😀

in 2016, you guys blew us away with your generosity and we were able to donate over 100 lots of gifts to children that otherwise would never have received christmas presents.

This year we were aiming to do more and my god did you pull out the stops for 2017!

The collection

Wow!! We were overwhelmed by your generosity. Hundreds of wonderful gifts donated and collected that will put a huge smile on the faces of the most disadvantaged children this Christmas.

Many of the families who come into safe house have little or no income. The women and children often flee urgent dangerous abuse and leave their homes with nothing. During festival periods this is particularly difficult and isolating for the children, so we like to ensure they still have a happy and enjoyable time over Christmas with activities and presents.

South Bristol Child Protection Social Services:

Many of the families who are referred to us have little or no income. The children can often be living in poor conditions and have few toys or possessions of their own. The children we are involved with are either on Child Protection Plans or are Children In Need and are therefore classed as some of the most vulnerable children.
